Available to both short-term rehab and long-term care residents, this innovative program is led by local pulmonologist, Dr. Jason M. Konter and his colleagues. With 20+ years of experience and affiliation with MetroWest Medical Center, Dr. Konter specializes in treating chronic conditions such as sleep apnea, asthma, COPD, pulmonary hypertension, pneumonia, and other respiratory conditions.
Supporting Dr. Konter is our dedicated Respiratory Therapist, Maria DeLeon, ensuring consistent and personalized care for all residents. Maria’s expertise adds significant value by delivering hands-on respiratory therapy that helps residents manage symptoms, improve lung function, and enhance their overall quality of life.
About the Program
Our Pulmonary Care Program is designed to promote positive patient outcomes and enhance quality of life. From chronic respiratory treatments to overnight pulse oximetry, our comprehensive services cater to a spectrum of needs. With our onsite pulmonologist and respiratory therapy team available round the clock, residents receive prompt attention to respiratory needs without leaving our community, contributing to reduced rehospitalization rates.
For those transitioning back home, our Pulmonary Care team provides thorough training and support, equipping both patients and caregivers with the necessary skills and knowledge for continued care.
