Expert Dementia Care Seminar

Framingham, MA – (April 10, 2025) – Mary Ann Morse at Heritage invites family caregivers, community members, and anyone who cares for or is concerned for someone living with memory loss to attend a free, expert-led seminar, “Expert Insights on Dementia Care,” on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 747 Water Street, Framingham, MA.
This engaging and informative event features a panel of aging life care and dementia professionals including Anna Pollard, Director of Clinical Services with LifeCare Advocates, Tammy Pozerycki, dementia care educator and counselor with Clear Guidance, and Julie McMurray, Senior Manager of Community Engagement at the Alzheimer’s Association, Massachusetts and New Hampshire Chapter. The seminar will explore such topics as when to consider memory care, the benefits of assisted living, and proven techniques to support individuals living with dementia. Participants will learn how to help improve communication, foster engagement, and reduce caregiver stress, with a Q&A session following the panel discussion. A buffet lunch and light refreshments will be served.
Attendees are welcome and encouraged to bring a loved one living with memory loss to enjoy specially designed memory care activities during the seminar while attendees hear from the panel of experts. Loved ones will then rejoin attendees afterward to enjoy the buffet lunch together.
