Birch Unit Manager
Brendan started working at Mary Ann Morse in May 2014 as a floor nurse on our Cedar Unit. He was promoted to our night Nursing Supervisor in 2015. We are pleased to now welcome him to the Birch Unit.

In his own words
The favorite part of my job is interacting with our residents and families, especially learning about what the residents did prior to coming to Mary Ann Morse….their occupations, family lineage, past military experience and hobbies. These are all contributing factors to who they are as people now.
On his own time
Brendan enjoys spending time with his wife, Tina, and his two young children Ella and Brendan. Together they spend their free time in the summers at Prospect Harbor, Maine and Falmouth, MA. In the winters, he is an avid snowmobiler and can be found in Moose River, Maine as often as time and snow conditions allow. He is a Selectman in the town of Hopkinton and is an active volunteer on numerous other boards. He enjoys watching the Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins.

Mary has been part of our healthcare team since 2007 and came with extensive experience providing Social Work services in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

Certificate in Massage Therapy from Salter College, Licensed as a Massage Therapist.
In her own words
I am proud to be an employee of Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center. It is one of the finest Skilled Nursing Facilities in Massachusetts. The moment I walk through the doors to our beautiful and spacious lobby each weekday morning, I become energized and ready to begin my day’s work.
I enjoy the contacts I have with residents and their families even when presented with difficulties and challenges that require my support and assistance. I am always impressed by the professionalism of my colleagues, and the camaraderie that is shared amongst us which helps build strong clinical teamwork and bonds friendships both inside & outside of our four walls.
On her own time
Listening to music and “dusting off” my piano playing skills, reviving interests in crafts such as sewing, knitting , crocheting,& artwork I am an avid gardener. I enjoy finding new recipes for cooking & trying them out with friends and family.
I pursue educational opportunities alternative therapies like massage as well as in the profession of Social Work particularly in the specialty areas of Geriatrics and Mental Health. I am an avid reader and enjoy anything I can get my hands on.

My favorite part of my job is hearing people’s stories. I like it when I feel as though I really made a difference in someone’s life. I enjoy the pleasure of doing something nice for someone. I take pride in knowing that I work for a company that cares about enhancing the quality of life for its residents and the local community surrounding it.

What I like to do for fun when I’m not at work is to make cloth dolls and to travel with my husband.
