Mary Ann Morse at Heritage COVID-19 Update
October 14, 2020 – With fall upon us and the threat of COVID-19 still very real, I am sharing this update to inform you that Mary Ann Morse at Heritage has recently had positive COVID test results within the Senior-Living Community.
As of today, there are 7 residents and 5 staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19. The residents who have tested positive are isolated to the Homestead Unit at Heritage. Everyone who lives and works there has been notified along with our residents’ families, and the appropriate state and local agencies.
As always, our commitment to ensuring the safety of all residents and staff at Heritage is our number one priority. We want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to mitigate the spread of the virus. Heritage has plenty of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and new infection control technology to clean and disinfect all areas within the building (Puro Sentry M1 Ultraviolet disinfection technology and the Halo Fogger Disinfection System). This is in addition to the daily cleaning protocols already in place.
While we can speculate how the virus entered the facility, there is no way to know for certain the source of the virus. We will continue to be diligent in our infection control protocols and follow all CDC and state guidelines as well as maintain communication with the Framingham Board of Health and the MA Department of Public Health.
Sincerely,
Lisa Kubiak, President/CEO
