Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center Community Update

November 18, 2020 – Yesterday we learned that one of our patients who went out to the hospital has tested positive for COVID-19 while in the hospital. Although not currently in the building, having one positive case from the facility is considered an outbreak. With that, we immediately started testing all of the required residents and staff. We have notified the appropriate governing bodies as required and are working with our Epidemiologist contact from the Department of Public Health on our continued comprehensive plan. The safety of all of our residents is of utmost importance to us.

Unfortunately, at this time we are suspending visits until the results and evaluation of all the testing has been completed. We are encouraging virtual visits. Please call to schedule one of those appointments.

We will keep you posted of our progress. As always if there is anything that we can do to support you, our families, during this time, please give us a call: 508-433-4400.

Sincerely,

Carol Kapolka, Executive Director

Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center
