Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center Update: Vaccination Clinics, COVID-19

As of January 7, 2021, we have learned of two new COVID positive staff cases. The two cases are not direct care workers and they will be out of work for the required time. The good news is that we are catching the few COVID positive staff cases very quickly through our surveillance testing program

With the current positive staff, we will not be able to open for visits through January 21st. We will re-assess the opportunity for us to open up for visits at that time. We are sorry for this and thank you for your understanding.  If you wish, please call to set up a virtual visit.

Vaccination Clinics at Mary Ann Morse

Final preparations are underway and we are looking forward to our first of three vaccination clinics on Saturday, January 7, 2021. Our pharmacy partner, CVS/Omnicare is planning to be onsite to vaccinate our residents and staff from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If you have any additional questions on this, please contact Susan Woodworth, our Assistant Director of Nursing/Infection Prevention Specialist.

We are excited to be part of this program and that long-term care was given priority for the vaccine. We are working diligently to have as many residents and staff vaccinated as we possibly can.

As always, if there is anything that we can do to help, please give us a call: 508-433-4400.

Sincerely,

Carol Kapolka, Executive Director

Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center
