Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center Community Update: COVID-19
April 9, 2021 – I am writing to let you know that one of our staff members tested positive for COVID 19 today. We have implemented the outbreak testing protocol and are now testing all our staff and residents.
After reviewing the regulations and conferring with our Department of Public Health Epidemiologist, we will unfortunately need to suspend indoor visits for the Alder Unit at this time. We expect that we will not be able to have indoor visits for the Alder Unit for at least 2 weeks, pending no other positive tests.
The families and friends of our Alder patients will need to visit in our outdoor locations. Please have patience with us while we transition to this new temporary process for visits. The families and friends of our Birch and Cedar residents can visit following the guidelines that have been in place since March 22.
