Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center Community Update: COVID-19, Vaccination Clinics

As of December 18, 2020, we are almost entirely recovered from COVID-19 at Mary Ann Morse, with the exception of one person still recovering. However, during routine surveillance, we have identified one new positive staff member. That person will be out of work the required time.

With the current positive staff, we will not be able to open for visits. We are sorry for this and thank you for your understanding. If you wish, please call to set up a virtual visit.

The Department of Public Health conducted a random Infection Control Survey at Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center on Monday, December 14, 2020. We were pleased to be found deficiency-free.

We would like you to know that we have received tentative dates for our COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Mary Ann Morse. Under a federal program, we have partnered with CVS/Omnicare to hold our vaccination clinics. We are awaiting confirmation on the dates from CVS/Omnicare but expect them to be held January 9th and January 30th. The vaccine will be available for both residents and staff. Much more information to follow, as we roll out this vaccination program.

As always, if there is anything that we can do to help, please give us a call: 508-433-4400.

Sincerely,

Carol Kapolka, Executive Director

Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center
