Mary Ann Morse at Heritage COVID-19 Update
January 15, 2021 – What a great day! 308 days ago, we had to put up barrier in our entry way to keep anyone other than essential employees out of our community. Today, with our partners from Omnicare/CVS, we vaccinated 158 Residents and staff members. We are truly grateful for this day.
As a reminder, it is very important we all remain vigilant with mask wearing, hand hygiene, and social distancing. Immunity will take time to develop.
Thank you to our Residents, families, and staff for being so willing to participate in this event. I hope you are as filled with gratitude as I am today.
I also need to inform you that a new staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. This person has not worked since 1/5/21 and also knows the source of their transmission. The risk of transmission to other Residents and staff is low, but of course, we will continue with our weekly testing for the time being.
